Bye, 2008.



Last post of the year. Got tons of reflections and i guess this is the year that changed me the most. Compare now and sec two eoy, it's totally like super different. siao-ness/highness definitely gave way and I GOT MORE INTROVERT. haha no kidding. Enjoyed more solitude than ever.

Reflection of my academic life, it's pathetic. Copying answers in the morning (and normally its bio ws cause dunno how to do) is like some routine every friday. -.- and attempting to memorise all bio chapters the night before bio exam was the most daring/unforgettable thing i've ever done. And not forgetting that 30 mins before the exam, i have not touched human/plant transport and nutrition.><

Conclusion, bio and me in 2008 is no link.

Highlights of the year - knowing 304. Leaving 203. obs in march. nyse's carnegie. elections. teachers day celebration. eoy. fbr. bbq at sigpark. Camp. Concert. fbr.switz&paris. nyse bbq.

Alotof major things happened this year, especially the later part of the year i guess. Knew the other side of people and learning to be immune to such things made me even stronger. Didn’t knew i was that weak but hey, that's growing up. i feel so glad to have those experiences and seriously, dealing with those stuff that once killed me made me see through more people. Haha i've learnt the art of daoing all those nonsense and as long as my conscience clear, the truth will behold. (:

Oh there's one more. The art of calming myself when something screws up. It looks as if I don’t care about it but nah, it’s called dealing the problem calmly lol. No need to freak out cause it is never going to help. Sigh I guess there’s still room for improvement though, must KAN4KAI1 more often. If not i’ll end up emoing everyday and develop darker (and more swollen) panda eyes. -.- Haha. But in overall I guess those two are those few things that I’ve made conclusion of after 2008. (:

Heh. Anyway goals for next year: MUG like siao. -.- especially after syf.

going to chiong mugging like crazy. And heh i can’t stand my lack of efficiency these days. Especially with msn. Attempts to do work on msn always fails and it usually takes like 2-3 hours more than it should to get it completed.. hahaha really dislike the msn temptation. ><

Ahwells. I shall welcome 2009 with open arms. My last year in nanyang haha. Foresight foresight><

Back from nyse chalet. Well. paid 20 bucks (ex to the max) for an additional night with dear exco. Anyway, afternoon was fun. Conclusion= when joan's scared, she attempts to look down and never look up(: hahahahah. pwns me can. and SHE WANTS TO SIT BESIDE ME. Stupid caoyun always break us up. -.- oh me and caoyun pwn the most. we got this zai power. caoyun + kim = C&K = Calvin Klein = power;D hahaha anyway fast forward. Daytona pwns. ><

Dinner at fish&co express! KNS shared student meal save money! oh and joanny and i went mad. too much jellybeans. and and their restaurant's audio system rocks. all the nice songs and WOMANIZER!:D HAHAHA. JOAN CAN MEMORISE OMG SO CUTE:D hahahaha and seeing certain kind of girls *coughs* eating SO fast. cant stand it i eat so slow that they pwn me. (haha inside joke + sarcasm!) walked the rest to the bus stop with shir well cao reg joan went back cause apparently cao was *dead tired*. -.- i believe lah. Anyway, we bought mocha iceblended from coffee bean after that before heading back to the room.

reached the room unit and heard some freaking-out-cause-of-something's voice from inside. Stupid Joan refuse to let me go in to the room and thanks ah i waited outside so long. -.- Took them like ard 2 mins to open the door and the o.o thing came. dark room. darl people. dark everything. almost cant see. -.- Joan +shir brought me to the bbq pit behind the chalet room. saw three things. okay 5. reg + supposedly tired cao + joan + shir + cake. >< hahaha

ah after that was like exco night chill out. Reflections on ensemble stuff then digress to personal stuff. Girls talk lasted till like 4 plus~hahaha slept at 530! Nearly died when random people (I cant rmb sorry was half awake) woke me at 930.zzz lol.

had breakfast and stone till like afternoon for the seinors to come. haha bbq was O.O. mini fire><>< hahaha anyway was quite funny and saw many seniors back!:D omg and food everywhere. ;D got so dirty and well, at least i had some fun near the fire(: hahaha nice advanced celebration for sixteen.love SCJR loads!<3

and considering the fact that i would be away from the 28th to the 1st jan, i'm left with tmr only. sigh. how nice to have clearance sales like those happening in orchard. i'd offer 1 switz chocolate per purchase. best deal in spore. -.-

great. currently suffering from this jetlag that makes you cant sleep.>< have not been sleeping ever since christmas eve heh. oh and i spend my christmas countdown right above bengal sea!:D Hello, not everyone can countdown above sea one okay. yayness.:D


haha anyway i shant blogged day by day but rather the highlights i guess.

Let's see. Switzerland definitely owns Paris. The latter's far too chaotic for a holiday vacation. more like shopping spree can. Anyway highlights of Switzerland's the CHOCOLATE AND SKII-ING!(: i bought like tons of swiss chocos back! We attended this chocolate-making lesson by this choco-specialised restaurants. ohmygosh. the Paves are heaven. Truffle's one of the best too. uhmmm. Our swiss fondue dinner was like quite good i guess. basicially it's just cheese, meat and chocolate fondue. haha yumm.><

Anyway the skiing was ultimate too. we went up to this relatively steep slope on mount titlis. gosh. fell down like dunno-how-many-times can. haha everyone fell and it got quite funny after awhile.>< Anyway the moment you are in control and on the way down slope, it accelerates and plus the wind = SHUANG. hahaha oh but i got this relatively serious bruise on my knee though. its SO small that i cant see.(: hahaha.

We went to the top of europe -Jungfraujoch too. 4000+m above sea level. when we were at the top it was like -15 degree celsius and whats more, 45km/h of wind blowing against you. snowflakes piercing the face and redness around the ears. haha. that few seconds outside is just awesome i guess. :D

As for paris, its alot of history lessons + shopping at gallary la fayette. zzz i thought champs elysee was a much better shopping spot ><><

Oh talking about crossants. i'm loving it in switz/paris. everyday 2 crossants and butter. yumm. haha and not forgetting the bacon, ham, sausages, scrambled eggs and cereals. 9 breakfast of the same sort. ><

Anyway, it was like shopping paradise, especially for my mum in paris and dad in switz. bro and me were like stuck in boutiques that dont even sell stuff that we use. oh except the swatch watches though. haha bought quite a number of it, most of them being their countries edition where it isnt for sale in other countries. yeah thats all. ><


That's why i say, switz was more fun than paris and hoho learnt a couple of german/french(but not being able to spell-.-).

ahwells. Nice experience and i didnt want to come back to spore. heh switzerland ftw!:D

Post-concert blues.

Sul Ponticello's over.

For the first time, i felt that unity in nyse. That common goal inside to give our best as an ensemble. Certainly, that wasnt our best but i guess most of us enjoyed the music. At least for me, that is. Looking at random juniors while playing and getting a smile in return's great. sigh shuo le ye bu ming bai de. ><

Anyway,i guess i've learnt alot in the process. shant really elaborate but i'm grateful for the experience. Chionging proposals, doing up schedules, giving annoucements, freaking out for solutions after screwups. And of course, the constant thing in my head that tells me not to rahrah not to rahrah. It had successfully drilled in my head that it became part of me. Sounds like i am possessed but no. haha it's just self-realization i guess.


Ahwells. post-concert blues are really bad. teared alittle after reading caoyun's post. and yes i didnt had foresight to prepare for reality. should have prepared and numbed myself before today's concert. i guess i wasnt mature enough. sigh. plus, listening to never had a dream come true reminds me of bbq.

okay now's qing tian. and seriously, the fact that reality's going to smack right in my face tells me to stop listening to those songs before i sink even further.


Sigh i shall stop here. i just wanna say that i will miss FBR alot. ):

in less than 24 hours, Sul Ponticello will be over. okay nvm i am looking forward to tmr.(:

watched camp montage just now again. relieving memories and i am missing camp! i missed all the running around, screwing ups and sleeping late. And in the midst of having post camp blues, it's 3 more days to Sul Ponticello.

STANDARD CHARTERED MARATHON 2008

just got back from there. Supported daddy and ivan. Daddy clocked 3.44hours for full!awesome! haha saw uncle james standing beside the deejay! :D ivan ran with shaoquan though. hahaha he has tomato face after running!(: ahwells. ivan + shaoquan = me out of place. so the whole day was spend occupying with my cam.

Oh. talking about cam, i just got one last week. EOS 1000 + external thing that zooms. -.- fine lets called it the zoomers. Its that waterbottle size of thing that u insert to the original camera for further zoom-mage. -.- okay never mind, that isnt the point. The point is, that camera's IMBA.(like FBR) oh my gosh played with it the whole morning and took imba pictures.

Sigh okay nvm. Joan just signed off from mass convo and my computer happened to lag. zz were talking about our future (again). how anticlimax. ahwells.

P.S i'm starting to get post-camp blues and yes i know i am lagging. -.-

NYSE-HCISO camp's finally over.


wonder if i'm supposed to feel sad that it's over or to feel happy cause' no more chionging work till late nights anymore. OH AND NO MORE NIGHTMARES.>< Anyway, i'm glad that at least some people enjoyed the camp, although some people might have thought oherwise. shall comfort myself that the fact remains that we cant possibly please everyone, and that we have tried our best. well, at least no major accidents happened.

sigh. it's rather amazing how we settled down 86 campers in that tiny salt centre and get everyone quiet to listen to pres/chair. Some of us lost our voice by the 2nd day and were chionging to caoyun for strepsils. had a mini exco strepsils fight with caoyun showing slight bias-ness to *ahems* though heh. Ahwells. i supposed this camp made me realized my voice potential.-.- never did i realized that i could roar hahaha. yay caoyun i'm going to win you in roaring. oh but the fact remains that microphones are still the best creation-.- never place your larynx at risk unless neccesary. you wont want your voicebox to explode.-.-

oh and my high fever was running after me on the 3rd day but didnt realized till the afternoon.=.- cant stand my stupidity and it is highly annoying me. thought i was feeling warm due to the hot sun-.-. ahwells. 3 hours of sleep for both nights i laugh(:

Come to think, i kind of made new friends and understand FBR mates even more. Never did i know that jiaquan's____ skills were so imba and zhaohong actually CRAPS. D: zz the violas(: hahaha yay despise despise! oh and sorry to those people that i was spraying/pouring water on for the big game! it was all for fun :D

Anyway, i need to thank nyse for being cooperative despite the super duper packed and tiring camp schedule. oh and to bear with all our screwups and trying to settle the guys with our roaring. and and the fact that we cant do our traditional waterbombing. ):

next, i need to thank FBR for being so ________. (cant think of a word to describe) we hardly ever quarrelled and it's super amazing since our exco is like super big and the ensemble's even bigger.><>< hahaha logistics was the most imba. kudos to zh (small one) and joan hahaha. 1000 water bags and 15 ponchos i laugh(:

Conclusion, this camp indeed bring loads of us together and i guess all our working-till-1/2am since 2 months ago was paid off!(: oh and our last minute montage skills rocks. did for both nights and realized that all pictures were gone 1 hour before camp closure(: re-did everything publish 2 times stil wrong. >< really pwn until cannot pwn already.
